New American Girl 2017 Summer Items

I am so excited!!!  American Girl has came out with new items for the summer!!!  You can purchase these new items on the AG website online or in the AG stores/kiosks (link down below.  Here are some my favorite new AG Summer items:

• Truly Me #67 Doll & New Truly Me Meet Outfit - she looks like Gabriela GOTY 2017 (Sonali face mold) but #67 has longer hair. 

• Truly Me #68 Doll - she reminds me of McKenna GOTY 2012 (Marie Grace face mold) but #68 has brown eyes and brown hair.

• Truly Me #69 Doll- she is my favorite new summer AG item!  She has the classic fold mold. I am going to save my money up for her.

• The Truly Me dolls without hair now are now part of the Truly Me product line and can be purchased online! Hopefully, it will also be able for purchase in store too!- I am so happy that they finally have a number! 

• Truly Me Accessories- I love the pink wallet because it's great for holding their money, gift cards and credit cards.

• Gabriela's Loft Bed- my doll Emma will love this because it so crafty and colorful.

• Gabriela's Take Flight Performance Outfit- I like the outfit but I'm not a big fan of the shirt color. I think dark pink/purple (same shade as the headband) would have been a better color choice.

• Gabriela's Chair & Ottoman Set- perfect for my dolls to sit, chill out and listen to their tunes on!

• Tenney's Sparkling Performance Outfit- Tenney is sparkling with beauty in this outfit.

• Logan's Performance Outfit- Logan is ready for a good old Texas drumming performance.

• AG Grand Hotel- I love the bed especially for its attention to detail in the design. 

• AG Grand Hotel Room Service- the food and tray looks so realistic

Newest American Girl Doll Character Suzie "Z" Yang!!!

AG's newest contemporary character..... Suzie "Z" Yang, is now finally available for purchase!  You can purchase her on AG's website and stores around the world, Indigo/Chapters website, store and kiosk in Canada or Amazon!  I now know what I'm saving up for just by one look at her collection ;D

"Z" reminds me of Jess McConell GOTY 2006 and My AG/Truly Me #30.  She looks like Jess because they both have the Jess face mold, they have the same hair color, the same hair part and they both have "almond" shaped eyes.  Z looks like #30 because they both have the Jess face mold, "almond" shaped eyes, same hair color, the same hair length, same hair part and they both have feather eyebrows.  If you think about it, all 3 of them look kind of the same!!!

NEW 2017 AMERICAN GIRL DOLLS: Tenney, Logan, Suzie, Nanea, Felicity

Confirmed:
→ New Contemporary Characters: Tenney and Logan are bandmates and will be debuting in 2 days on February 16!
→ Felicity will be back with an updated Beforever line.  She originally retired in 2010.
→ New Beforever character launching in the Fall 2017 is Nanea Mitchell.  Her story will take place in 1941 near the start of World War 11.  She will feature a new AG face mold and her background is Hawaiian!
→ New Contemporary Character named "Z" aka Suzie Yang.  She will be Korean-American descent and will be featured on the first live-action adventure on Amazon in the near future.

New American Girl February Items!!

I am so excited!!!  AG is coming out with new items!!  These new AG items will be available for purchase on Thursday, February 16th (the same day as Tenney's and Logan's debut 😁).  Here are some of the new AG February items:

• Truly Me: Star Player Volleyball Outfit - this is perfect for my doll Searra (#37) because she loves volleyball!  Which doll do you have that you suit this outfit?

• Truly Me: Beach Cooler Set - my dolls can not wait to got to the beach and bring this along :D

American Girl Dolls Release: Tenney Grant and Logan Everette to be released February 2017

 I was able to find more Tenney Grant news after some further research.  I am also torn apart right now on which doll to add to my current collection!  I can't decide between Tenney Grant, Logan (the rumoured boy doll) or GOTY Gabriela...do you know who I should choose?  Here are some of the details I have found regarding Tenney and Logan:

• The two new AG additions to the 18 inch doll collection will be....Tenney (female) which will debut during this month of February 2017, scheduled for the 16th along with Logan Everette (male)
• Logan is Tenney's friend who is presumed to be a drummer for their music band
• Tenney's hands will have extra joints to hold her beloved banjo and guitar
• Tenney has a Golden Retriever named Waylon
• Tenney's story will be take place in Nashville, Tennessee (is she the doll version of the young Taylor Swift??)
• Tenney's hobbies will include: playing guitar and banjo, singing, writing songs, cooking with her mom
• Her best friend is named a Jaya Mitra

American Girl Doll GOTY 2017: Gabriela McBride's Collection

Happy New Year 2017 Everyone!  On January 2nd, I went to the American Girl Place and I got to see Gabriela's limited collection.  I loved what was available in her collection so far, but I was a little disappointed that there was no big ticket item (a big piece of furniture).  Last year's, big ticket item was Lea's Rainforest House; 2015 Grace had Grace's French Bakery; 2014 Isabelle had Isabelle's Studio (Sewing); Ahhhh, you get my point!  AG this is a shout out to you, where is Gabriela's big ticket item????

Now back to the parts of her collection I did like....

1. Gabriela herself - who has curly dark brown hair, dark skin, brown eyes, feathered eyebrows and has the Sonali face mold.  Gabriela arrives with her hair up in a high ponytail, a pink headband, an aqua blue tank top with a quarter length purple shirt on top that says "dream" in cursive, blue jeans, purple sneakers with blue on the design and her meet book.  I was not very impressed with her meet box though because to me it looks like a walmart doll box, not an AG doll box.
2. Gabriela's Accessories - It comes with a colorful bag with a boom-box graphic on the front, shoulder strap, and side pockets, a water bottle to keep her hydrated, a yummy bag of trail mix to keep her energized, a pretend apple to munch on, 10 hair pins and 8 hairbands so she can do her hair and a sheet of bandage stickers just in case she get hurt.
3. Gabriela's Performance Case - It comes with a rolling case with wheels that says "GABRIELA" on it, a laptop, 3 laptop screens, 2 drumsticks, 1 pink, red and purple drum pad, a microphone, red headphones and a sticker sheet.
4. Gabriela's Showtime Kit - It comes with a case with a heart graphic on it, real doll nail polish in an exclusive metallic shade that will wash off with water, a hair pin with flowers and birds on it, pretend makeup and mirror, a bristle brush, a golden hair pick and a braided metallic headband and a flower hairband with a pretend gem in the centre.
5. Gabriela's PJ's - It comes with a soft light blue knit tank top with a colorful graphic on the front, a pair of cropped dark blue pajama pants and fluffy light blue slippers.
