As Promised...Here's Julie!

Here's my Julie waving hello to you!
This Julie doll is an original historical doll.  Julie has long blond hair, brown eyes, light skin, pencil eyebrows and Josephina face mold.   She is wearing her original meet outfit in the picture above.  Julie's time period is 1974.  Julie's book is about when Julie moves away because her parents get divorced and she lives with her mom and sister Jade.  Julie wants to try out for the boy's basketball team at her new school (there was no team for girls only).  The team coach does not allow Julie to join.   Julie creates a petition at the school trying to gain support for her joining the team (she really was good enough for the boys' team).  You can find out what happens to her story by reading her book!  I got Julie in May 2013.  If you are looking for a doll who is full of excitement,  I highly recommend Julie.

This past August 2014, the AG historical characters' line was changed to the new line of Beforever Doll line.  When you buy a Julie doll today, she will come with a book, a yellow vest, a white shirt that has a peace sign on it, bell-bottom jeans, underwear and sandals.  Here is a picture of the new outfit from the American Girl website.

I hope you enjoyed this blog about Julie:D Blog to you later!

GOTY 2015 GRACE THOMAS AMERICAN GIRL

I'm so exited to share the great news with you! A youtube video of a sneak peak of the GOTY 2015 18 inch doll posted by DeenaandBeena (Thanks DeenaandBeena!).  It looks like she has Josefina's face mold, feathered eye brows, freckles, blue eyes, black hair with bangs and light skin. Grace comes with a t-shirt that's white and has a picture of the Eiffel Tower from Paris, a pink skirt, grey boots, a charm bracelet and her meet book. Can't wait to see all of her outfits and her accessories but... 2014 is still here and we have the Isabelle doll GOTY 2014 to enjoy!

Blog Hog

My mom just called me a "blog hog" because I wanted to write another post for today.

GOTY 2015

I would like to introduce the new GOTY 2015. Her name is Grace Thomas. She has black hair with bangs, blue eyes and light skin. This is what her book is about:Grace decides over summer break she and her friends will create a business but her mom plans a trip to Paris instead. She and her cousin are not getting along. Her friends back home decide to do the business without her. Yesterday we had a preview of Grace the mini doll version on the Internet but today they have magically disappeared (did American Girl order the disappearance?). I can't wait to see the 18 inch doll version!

Emmy's American Girl Doll Whispers Blog will be launching shortly! Stay tuned!
